Nicely enhanced with black-and-white illustrations by Amy Wummer, this series of mystery adventures features two friends who aspire to be detectives, with a little assistance from time to time from the world-famous private eye Dash Marlow. Their second case is "The Case Of The Poisoned Pig" when it's up to Milo and Jazz to discover who has poisoned a harmless pet piglet -- and why? Certainly to be a popular series, 'The Milo & Jazz Mysteries' are highly recommended additions to school and community library collections for young readers.

The second in the Milo and Jazz Mystery series introduces the reader to a few new characters and a brand new mystery. Milo's little brother and Jazz's pet pig form a friendship that might make this mystery difficult to solve. Leave it to Milo and Jazz to investigate, suspect, and solve The Case of the Poisoned Pig. Young readers ready to move from picture books to chapter books will love this series. I love this series.
